Downtown bus riders yesterday might have been bewildered by a city bus driving in circles with the fictional destination “Mercury Ave.” on its headsign.
The out-of-service bus was being used by a film crew on the last day of shooting for the short film “Scraps.” Shot over six long days in various Columbia locales, “Scraps” is the first dramatic film by Randy Sinquefield’s Spectrum Studios, which opened about eight months ago out of a warehouse on St. James Street.
