Randy Sinquefield

Randy is an award-winning filmmaker originally from Los Angeles. After earning his Bachelor’s degree in Theater Production at the Univsersity of Missouri, he returned to southern California to further study film production at Brooks Institute of Photography, where he graduated Cum Laude, with a secondary degree in film production.

From there, Randy worked in production in Los Angeles on music videos, commercials, short films, feature films, and as the Media Editor at Dimensional Fund Advisors, until returning to Columbia to open his studio. Located in northern downtown Columbia’s emerging arts district, Spectrum Studios is a 6,000-square-foot warehouse, offerring film/video production space and post production services, as well as equipment rentals and green screen technology.

Randy recently earned a bronze award for Best Short Documentary at the Lake Arrowhead Film Festival, and was awarded an Accolade for his 2008 documentary, Genius Among Us: Young Composers in Missouri. (This documentary is currently airing on Missouri television stations in Columbia and Kansas City, as well as on STL-TV and Florissant TV.)
